Serzh Sargsyan receives Greek President, agreements signed
Greek President Karolos Papoulias arrived in Armenia on a state visit at the invitation of Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan. The welcoming ceremony of K. Papoulias took place today in the Armenian president’s residence, followed by face-to-face talks of the two presidents, according to the presidential press service.
Then the negotiations continued in an enlarged format: with the participation of the official delegations of Armenia and Greece. At the conclusion of the negotiations, documents on the strengthening and deepening of Armenian-Greek relations were signed, in particular an agreement between Armenian Agriculture Ministry and Greek Ministry of Rural Development and Food and an agreement between the Armenian Development Agency and the Greek-Armenian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Presidents Sargsyan and Papoulias made a statement for the mass media concerning the results of the negotiations.
