Prime minister: No pregnant woman should suffer
The Armenian government will not take any measures that would negatively affect even one pregnant woman, Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan said at the government session today when speaking about the bill on temporary disability allowances.
“I didn’t see any positive reactions to these amendments. The government will not take a step, due to which even one pregnant woman will suffer. It is the principle off the bill,” the prime minister pointed out.
Armenian Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Artyom Asatryan said for his part that all the proposals will be taken into account. An amended version of the bill will be presented next week.
