Armenian government to compensate fees for issuance of passports to Syrian Armenians
Armenian government will compensate the fees for issuance of passports to Armenians from Syria, Lebanon and Iraq. This decision was made at the cabinet meeting on Wednesday.
Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Manasaryan said that in the first quarter of 2015, 281 passports valid in foreign countries were issued without a fee.
The government will allocate about 17 million drams to the Foreign Ministry for this purpose.
