Armenia’s PM instructs NSS, police establish rule and order in the country
The wiretapping of the phone conversation of Armenia’s National Security Service director Artur Vanetsyan and the chief of Armenia’s Special Investigation Service Sasun Khachatryan is a provocation and a crime against Armenia’s statehood, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated during the campaign rally of My Step alliance.
“I have instructed the NSS, police to find the organizers of these conspiracies and bring them to responsibility,” he noted.
Pashinyan reminded that when he was editor-in-chief of Haykakan Zhamanak paper he stated that people relating to oligarchs and high ranked officials acquired wiretapping devices with the means robbed from the people and in parallel with the state’s special services created special services in the state.
He stated that all these special services, illegally armed groups will be revealed one by one.
“I am instructing the police and the NSS from now one carry out raids, disarm the bodyguards of high ranking officials and oligarchs,” he said, assigning NSS director and police chief to brief him on the results of the activities.
“The time for robbers in Armenia has passed. We will bring them from wherever they are America, Russia, Austria and return all they have robbed until the last penny,” he stressed.
Addressing to former presidents, he said they will get response to the thrown challenge.
“Robert Kocharyan, Serzh Sargsyan you have decided to challenge the Armenian people, now wait,” Pashinyan said, adding that the NSS and the police have already undertaken measures to establish rule and order in the country.
