Armenian PM’s, Azerbaijani President’s meeting reduces tension in Karabakh: Lebedev
Meeting of the Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev at the summit of heads of CIA countries in Dushanbe has reduced the tension in Nagorno Karabakh, Chairman of the CIS Executive Committee, CIS Executive Secretary Sergey Lebedev told the reporters.
“I have witnessed myself how many times they approached each other and discussed the Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement. The results are obvious. The tension in the conflict region has considerably reduced,” Lebedev told the reporters.
“We hope that these contacts between the leaders of the two countries will continue and give positive result,” Lebedev stressed.
