I became fugitive out of the blue and now I became Prime Minister out of the blue: Pashinyan
“I was thinking few days ago that I am again in a cell more than ever as now I am in a cabinet where it is not even possible to open a window, take the head out and breathe fresh air and let my state security protection service friends forgive me, but wherever I go, I go accompanied with armed people,” Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said at the discussion of his “The Opposite Side of the Country” book discussions.
“When I was in jail, one of the members of current security team was working at Yerevan Center penitentiary and everyday was opening the door and accompanying me, and now he is working in my security and continues accompanying me,” he said.
Pashinyan said that everything he described in the book repeats with him.
“I mean that time I became a fugitive out of the blue and now I became a Prime Minister out of the blue,” he said, adding that today too he feels like being a fugitive.
