Georgia welcomes Armenia’s participation in military drills in Georgia under NATO augites
Georgia attaches great significance to the participation of Armenian servicemen in the military drills in Georgia, Georgian Defense Minister Levan Izoria said at a joint press conference with the Armenian Defense Minister Davit Tonoyan in Yerevan today.
“I highly evaluate the participation of the Armenian servicemen in the military drills in Georgia and hope that the Armenian side will continue its involvement in the training drills,” the Georgian minister said, reminding that they are being conducted under the augites of NATO and with the involvement of partners.
As to the new sectors of Armenian-Georgian cooperation, Georgian minister noted that an arrangement has been reached over cooperation in the sector of discipline in the defense sector.
“Georgia is ready to share its experience,” the Georgian minister said.
