Armenia faces serious unemployment issues: Deputy PM
Armenia’s deputy prime minister Tigran Avinyan referred today to Work Armenia program launched yesterday.
“The unemployment issues are rather serious in Armenia. With the new methodology applied in 2018 the inter-departmental commission worked out a program based on three pillars. The first one is the development of human capital, the second promotion of employment and the third institutional reforms,” he said, adding that concrete targets and schedule will be set for ensuring these three directions.
Avinyan asked the relevant ministries to set the schedule by June 15.
He noted that the events are ready and it has remained to set clear targets.
