Prime Minister urges to give tough response to people in black
The former authorities and circles relating to them do not adapt to having appeared in political margin and are trying to undertake some actions to solve political issues, Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said at the cabinet sitting today.
“They even organize actions saying that they are going to solve political issues in Armenia with violence and such rhetoric is becoming even more organized, and we even have operative information that some sectors of this circle decided to form group of people in black who will tour in the city and create certain moods, show off with improper behavior,” the head of the government said.
Pashinyan stressed that in the country where non-violent, velvet revolution took place no calls of violence will be tolerated and the law enforcement system in such conditions cannot be velvet.
“The law enforcers must give a tough response to all such phenomena,” the premier stressed.
Chief of the Armenian police and NSS director Artur Vanetsyan convinced that the issue is clear and they will implement the assignment.
Pashinyan said the prosecutor’s office must treat this phenomenon not only regarding the criminal code but from the point of view of public security.
The premier urged Osipyan to form a group which will respond to calls ten times faster than usual.
