People in Jermuk gather protesting against Amulsar exploitation
People in Jermuk have gathered to express their protest against the exploitation of Amulsar mine.
They claim that exploitation will definitely cause pollution of waters of Jermuk.
Earlier the expert conclusion has been made public carried out by international Lebanese company which said that the exploitation of the mine will not harm Sevan and Jermuk waters.
After the conclusion was made public people gathered in front of government building in Yerevan to express their protest.
Today residents of Jermuk as well decided to express their protest.
They demanded Armenia's PM Nikol Pashinyan also be present, stressing that his absence will mean the expert conclusion is not final.
Speaking to reporters PM's spokesperson Vladimir Karapetyan said that the PM will not attend the gathering in Jermuk.
