Protesters threat to keep roads to mine closed if government backs Amulsar exploitation
Jermuk residents claim that if the government makes positive decision over exploitation of Amulsar they will keep the roads taking to the mine closed.
“If the Prime Minister rejected Serzh, he must reject all the negative programs coming from the time of Serzh’s ruling,” one of the protesters in front of Baghramyan 26 stated.
Another protester said that he will not allow his grandchildren gain disability.
“If a decision is made to exploit the mine, we will keep the roads taking to the mine closed. I will not allow my grandchildren to gain disability. We have come here with an entire family of 14 to defend our mount, for our children to breathe clean air,” he said.
