Sanitek trying to lay its problems on municipality: Yerevan mayor
Sanitek company periodically fails to pay salaries to its employees trying to lay its problems on the municipality, Yerevan mayor Hayk Marutyan told the reporters today.
The employees of the company gathered today in front of municipality as a sign of protest.
“More likely Sanitek is trying to put the problems on municipality. We have always urged them to pay the salaries of the employees. This time as well we will not leave the employees alone with their problems and provide consulting assistance and will help in the limits of our capacities,” Yerevan mayor said, adding at the same time that the municipality is not responsible for the issues of the company.
Marutyan stated that as of now the capital’s sanitary-cleaning service is intensively expanding and those who want to get jobs there are free to apply and pass to work.
The mayor convinced that Yerevan municipality has transferred over 3 billion AMD to Sanitek with the exclusion of 9% fines.
