Parliament backs legislative initiative relating to traffic security at first reading
Armenia’s National Assembly backed in the first reading the legislative package on making amendments in the laws relating to traffic security.
The package was backed by 115 lawmakers, including those from opposition factions.
The legislative package was introduced to the parliament by deputy chief of the police Hovhannes Kocharyan.
The package defines electrobomile, registers the necessity of having driving license for driving mopeds.
The legislative initiative also regulates the issue of driving cars in Armenia by foreign driving license.
According to it, foreigners with foreign driving license will not be allowed to work in Armenia with them.
