Government to follow the truth in Amulsar issue: Armenia’s PM
Four hundred thousand USD have been spent to reveal the truth about Amulsar, Armenia’s prime minister Nikol Pashinyan stated at a press conference on Monday.
“I do not consider the means spent for the sake of finding the truth wasted,” he stressed, adding that from the very beginning the government started working over Amulsar mine in absolutely transparent way.
“During the skype conference with Elard a number of circumstances were also revealed,” he said, adding that the company officials said the Amulsar security guarantor is Lydian company.
As to opening the roads to the mine, Pashinyan said they have the court’s decision on opening the road.
The head of the government said they will follow the truth in Amusalr issue.
“The truth will bring us to this or that decision,” the head of the government said, adding that the people must not give in to manipulations.
Pashinyan stressed that if the truth is that the mine cannot be exploited in the sidelines of commitments assumed by Lydian, it will be closed with all the legal grounds.
