Armenia condemns Turkey’s Syria offensive, calls international community undertake measures to stop illegal military actions: Armenia’s PM
Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan referred at the cabinet sitting today to Turkey’s Syria offensive.
“The Republic of Armenia condemns the invasion of Syria and is concerned with the situation as, with our assessment, these actions will deepen the humanitarian crisis already existing in Syria,” the head of the government stated.
Pashinyan stressed that Armenia calls on the international community to undertake practical measures to stop the illegal actions and protect the rights of Syrian citizens and ethnic minorities living in the settlements with Turkey’s border.
The prime minister said Armenia successfully implements humanitarian mission in Syria and will continue doing it.
Pashinyan also said the situation in Syria will be discussed after the cabinet sitting in closed regime.
