Armenia’s PM talks with ARF-D youth representatives, says about not sharing any of their demands and assessments
Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan does not share the demand of the ARF-D youth wing representatives who are protesting in front of Education, Science, Culture and Sport Ministry demanding resignation of the minister Arayik Harutyunyan.
“I do not share either of your demands and assessments,” Pashinyan told the young people who spent the night in front of the building of the ministry.
Pashinyan asked what exactly the young people are dissatisfied with as the changes in the education sector are approved by the government and not only ministry.
“If he was a robber, took money for entrance exams, no one would have been against him, right? Arayik Harutyunyan is not carrying out the country’s education policy, it is being done by the government and I have referred to the issue yesterday,” Pashinyan said.
The protesters said they will fight till the end, till the minister resigns.
“Mr Prime Minister we will fight till the end, till his resignation. Free him, for this wave not to touch you too,” one of the protesters said.
