CC crisis to be solved in the nearest future: Alen Simonyan says if necessary all 88 MPs to sign under package of bills
Nothing extraordinary has taken place, Vice-Chairman of the Armenian National Assembly Alen Simonyan told the reporters today, referring to the delay of the session.
“The author has recalled the bills. My colleague explained that the cause of the recall may be a need to change a comma or a necessity to change a word, and the new session of the Council will discuss new initiative,” Alen Simonyan said.
He said annulling the NA session means that the adopted agenda does not exist anymore and a new issue will be brought.
“I do not know what this new issue will be, now the session of the NA’s Council will be convened and everything will be clear,” he said.
Simonyan also referred to the claims about disagreements among My Step faction lawmakers.
“It is said 37 signed and 38 have not. I want to state that if necessary all 88 will sign it as we are all of the opinion that the crisis will be solved and it is not a secret that it all is being done to resolve the crisis,” he said, repeating that the issue will be settled in very short period of time.
“We had different phases of revolution, we have chosen different strategies. Now we have decided to stretch our hand to the CC judges in this way. Now, yes, a political decision has been made. The crisis existing in the CC and in judicial system in general will be solved as a final bastion remained from old Armenia,” Alen Simonyan said.
