Pashinyan: We must continue undertaking successive steps for raising efficiency of CSTO
Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received today CSTO Secretary General Stanislav Zas, who is in Armenia on a working visit.
According to the government’s press service, the premier welcomed the visit of the CSTO Secretary General to Armenia and once again congratulated on the appointment in the responsible position.
Pashinyan attached significance to the role of the CSTO in ensuring peace in the region.
“We must continue undertaking successive steps for raising the efficiency of the organization and its reinforcement,” the PM said.
The head of the government stressed the necessity of close cooperation for confronting global challenges and expressed hope that during the tenure of Stanislav Zas it will be possible to reach solution to existing issues.
The CSTO Secretary General briefed to the Armenia’s PM on the upcoming programs to be implemented in the framework of the organization, the priorities.
During the meeting the parties also referred to the organization of events dedicated to the 75th anniversary of victory in the Great Patriotic War.
The interlocutors also referred to a number of other issues of regional significance.
