The 4-year old toddler with Kawasaki Syndrome transported to Arabkir Medical Center with multi-system inflammatory syndrome
The 4-year old toddler who had asymptomatic COVID-19 was discharged from hospital after having tested negative after 4-day treatment.
After 4 days the toddler had a fever and was again admitted in Surb Astvatsamayr medical center in grave condition where he was diagnosed with Kawasaki Syndrome, spokesperson of the medical center Gevorg Derzyan reports.
He said that the condition of the child deteriorated in 3 days and in 8 days he had a high fewer.
During the treatment in Surb Astvatsamayr medical center the child’s condition noticeably improved.
The spokesperson said that the child has been later diagnosed with multi-system inflammatory syndrome and transported to Arabkir medical center to continue treatment there.
In a number of countries mostly children under five having been infected with COVID-19 are having Kawasaki Syndrome.
