Georgian ambassador to Armenia: Such a crime must be condemned
“Such a crime must be condemned. You may consider it my personal opinion if you like, but only through a dialog can we achieve peace in the region,” Georgian Ambassador to Armenia Tengiz Sharmanashvili told journalists today at the Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex.
“We highly appreciate the initiative and foresight of the Armenian president concerning the start of a dialog with Turkey,” he noted.
Russian Ambassador to Armenia Ivan Volynkin said for his part that ‘history is interconnected’. “So we should make a correct assessment of historical events and urge the international community to do the same,” Volynkin said.
