EEU will not introduce changes in relations of Armenia and NKR
There will be no changes in relations between Armenia and Nagorno Karabakh after Armenia joins the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU), Gagik Minasyan, Chairman of the Armenian parliament’s Standing Committee on Financial, Credit and Budget Affairs, told reporters today.
In his words, Armenia and the Nagorno Karabakh Republic are two different states, one republic is recognized, the other is not. “It is obvious that the two countries have close economic, political, cultural and military links,” Minasyan said.
“Armenia will join the Customs Union, but the relations of Armenia and the NKR will not change. A customs border between the two countries is out of the question,” G. Minasyan said.
