The rock superstars in Armenia
The news that Ara Tadevosyan, the director of “Mediamax” news agency told would shock the fans of real rock and not only them.
The thing is that in the frameworks of the “Armenia thanks the rock” program Ian Gillan from the rock group "Deep Purple" and John Dee the president of the organization "Do Something", Tony Iommi, the worldly famous guitar player of 'Black Sabbath'"group and Jeffrey Daunus from the "Asia" group, will arrive to Armenia.
“It is difficult to get all that stars together in the same time, but we have succeeded in finding the way. Till now I can’t believe that Tony Iommi is coming”,- confessed Ara Tadevosyan.
He also mentioned that they continue the talks with Brian May, the founding member of the group "Queen" and with David Gilmour from the group “Pink Floyd”.
During that time Pat Cash the Australian tennis player, who is also a famous guitar player will arrive to Armenia.
“It is really very tough to organize such a thing when such stars are involved in it. We discuss several variants. 15 minutes ago I got an official letter from the manager of Ian Gillan. The letter said that Gillen would like to realize a special project in Armenia, which is to present the songs of the group with the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Armenia”, - Tadevosyan said.
At the end of August everything will get clearer. But the only thing that such stars are visiting Armenia is already honorable for the country.
The rock-stars will visit Gyumri and Spitak.
P.S. It was by the participation of these stars that 20 years ago in 1989, a CD was recorded the total profit of which was given to those who suffered from the earthquake.
