This is not a defeat but a serious argument to be used correctly
“It is doubtless that Hungary knew what reaction of Armenia would be in case of Ramil Safarov’s extradition. However, it is also clear that the price Azerbaijan has suggested has been more preferable than the expected reaction and now we have what we have,” political scientist Alexander Iskandaryan said today to the journalists.
As for the Armenian side, A. Iskandaryan noticed, “I don’t share the opinion that this was the defeat of the Armenian diplomats. Just on the contrary, it shouldn’t be considered a defeat from the diplomatic viewpoint. There is a serious argument which should simply be correctly used.”
He also added that he hopes to see the Armenian diplomats using that argument on time and correctly, which surely needs more time and serious approach. The speaker also attached importance to the fact that now Armenia shouldn’t concentrate on Hungary, but should work correctly with the Minsk Group and the superpowers.
