Serzh Sargsyan meets with Czech foreign minister
President Serzh Sargsyan received today First Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign Minister of the Czech Republic Karel Schwarzenberg, the presidential press service reported.
The interlocutors expressed satisfaction with the active political dialog and ties between the two states.
The sides underlined the importance of promoting economic cooperation in the spheres of mutual interest, noting that frequent contacts between businessmen of the two countries can contribute to this. They expressed hope that the agreements reached during the Armenian-Czech economic forum being held in Yerevan will allow the sides to increase bilateral trade, develop and implement joint business project, and encourage investments.
The Armenian president and the Czech deputy prime minister discussed Armenia-EU relations, Armenia’s progress within the Eastern Partnership project initiated in Prague, the Karabakh conflict settlement process, and regional developments.
