US Embassy in Armenia starts issuing business and travel visas on Dec. 22
The United States Embassy in Armenia says it will begin issuing visas for up to 10 years for business and tourist travel to the U.S. earlier than planned.
The embassy announced earlier that effective January 1, 2015, the United States will begin issuing visas in accordance with a new reciprocal arrangement with the Republic of Armenia, but the embassy starts the process today, December 22, 2014.
Armenian applicants who qualify for a B-category nonimmigrant visa (NIV) may be issued multiple-entry visas for up to 10 years for business and tourist travel to the U.S. Qualified Armenian students and exchange visitors and their dependents who qualify for F, M, or J-category visas will be eligible for multiple-entry visas valid for up to five years.
