Kessab residents’ security in danger again
Despite the fact that residents of Kessab, a mostly Armenian-populated town in northwestern Syria, have returned to their homes and restored local schools and churches, their security problem remains unresolved, Yerakouyn.com said.
Leghi Jur checkpoint was shelled two days ago, and information was received on the evening of December 23 that an attack could be launched on Kessab. Armed groups were noticed near the border with Turkey.
Some of the residents have moved to safe places due to the tense situation in the region.
