Inaugural Baghdad-Yerevan-Erbil flight to be launched today
The Iraqi Airways will carry out the first ever Baghdad-Yerevan-Erbil (the capital of Iraqi Kurdistan) flight today.
Regular flights will be operated twice a week on Thursdays and Sundays by CRJ900 and Boeing 737 planes, according to Armenia’s General Department of Civil Aviation.
Members of the Iraqi government and heads of 50 travel companies will arrive in Armenia on the first flight.
The Iraqi Airways is owned by the government of Iraq and is represented in Armenia by Avia-Service Company.
