OSCE Mission to conduct monitoring on March 4
In accordance with the agreement reached with the authorities of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic, the OSCE Mission will conduct Wednesday, March 4, planned monitoring of the Line of Contact between the armed forces of Nagorno Karabakh and Azerbaijan to the northwest of Talish village of NKR’s Martakert region.
From the positions of the NKR Defense Army, the monitoring will be conducted by Field Assistant of the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office Yevgeny Sharov (Ukraine) and staff member of the Office Peter Svedberg (Sweden), as well as by Head of the OSCE High-Level Planning Group (HLPG) Colonel Markus Widmer (Switzerland), NKR MFA press office said.
From the opposite side of the line of contact, the monitoring will be conducted by Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office Ambassador Andrzej Kasprzyk and his Field Assistant Khristo Khristov (Bulgaria), as well as by representative of the OSCE High-Level Planning Group (HLPG) Colonel Tuncay Sevim (Turkey).
The NKR authorities expressed readiness to assist in conducting the monitoring and ensure security of the OSCE Mission members.
