Armenia’s PM visits veterans, pays tribute to them
Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan visited today the Union of Armenian Veterans and met with its members.
Chairman of the union Simon Yesayan briefed to the PM on the activity of the union and referred to the issues the veterans are facing today.
The Prime Minister welcomed and congratulated the veterans on the 27th anniversary of Armenia’s Independence and noted that he views Armenia’s three republics as strengthening and developing stages of the statehood which the Armenian people should by all means have passed.
Pashinyan stressed that the state must value the merits of veterans. “It is very important and we will try to give solutions to your issues. I have come today to pay tribute to you, to the way you passed and the merits you have,” he said, stressing that the Armenian government has the warmest feelings toward them and toward all those who endangered their lives for the homeland and those who wish better future for their children and grandchildren and for who Armenia’s independence and sovereignty are the highest value.
He also said that the government will discuss the issues voiced by veterans and give corresponding solutions.
