Government approves proposal on creation of international bureau of examination of aviation accidents and serious incidents
The Armenian government approved today the proposal on signing international agreement “On creation and activity of international bureau of examination of aviation accidents and serious incidents.”
The proposal came from Russian Transport Ministry in 2017 and has been approved by a number of CIS countries, including Armenia.
The bill says that cooperation with Armenia in this sector will be put on firm bases due to signing of a corresponding agreement, and Armenia’s having its representative in the bureau.
Currently Armenia lacks necessary resources for conduction of complete examination of aviation accidents and serious incidents while it has certain commitments in the sidelines of Chicago convention.
Due to the lack of above mentioned necessary resources it is purposeful for Armenia to transfer the mentioned function to the future body.
