Protesters open Yerevan-Etchmiadzin road, protest actions to continue on Monday
After long negotiations the participants of the protest action against release of former MP Manvel Grigoryan opened the Yerevan-Etchmiadzin road which they closed from the morning today.
Newly elected MPs and governor of Armavir came to negotiate with the protesters.
After lasting negotiations the protesters finally agreed to open the road.
MP from the My Step bloc Hayk Sargsyan stated that more probably Grigoryan will be re-arrested on Monday.
“If on Monday the court decides to leave him in freedom, more people will gather, catastrophic things will happen and not only on Yerevan-Etchmiadzin highway but in the whole republic,” protester Jivan Abrahamyan said.
