Two contract servicemen die in car accident in Armenia’s Syunik region
Two brothers died as a result of car accident in Armenia’s Syunik region on May 2.
Shamshyan.com reports that at about 23:40 p.m. local time two cars – Toyota Vitz driven by Armen Aharonyan, 25, and KamAZ truck driven by Narek Tatosyan, 33, clashed into each other at the 380th kilometer sector of Yerevan-Yeraskh-Meghri-Iran highway.
As a result the two cars went off the road and appeared in the gorge. Driver of Toyota Armen Aharonyan died on site, the passenger, L. Aharonyan, 23, was transported to hospital were later he died without coming to consciousness.
The two were brothers serving in one of the military units of Armenia’s Defense Ministry as contract servicemen.
