Negotiations to continue, Armenia and Artsakh to have united price for mobile communication: PSRC chairman
Public Service Regulatory Commission chairman Garegin Baghramyan confirmed today the post of Armenia’s PM Nikol Pashinyan about noticeable reduction of mobile communication tariffs in Armenia and Artsakh.
He said that from January 1, 2020 the tariff for outgoing calls from Artsakh will reduce from 38 to 29 AMD and later by January 2021 to 27 AMD. The entry calls tariff will reduce from 25 AMD to 15 and then 13 AMD. He said essential reduction will be registered in internet tariff as well.
“We have negotiated with the monopole mobile company in Asrtakh and the operators in Armenia. As a result not only roaming tariffs will be reduced but all the communication process. The final goal is to reach united price in Armenia and Artsakh,” Baghramyan said.
He said the negotiations will continue and the clear time of reaching all the goals will be clear during the signing of the memorandum.
