Armenia, Artsakh to have united price system: Armenia’s PM
An arrangement has been reached between the authorities of Armenia and Artsakh to reduce the tariffs for roaming services by the operators in Artsakh and Armenia, Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan wrote in Facebook, saying that the process will start from January 1, 2020 with quarter periodicity by January 1, 2021.
He said as a result from January 1, 2020 the following will be done.
- The tariffs of calls to Artsakh will reduce by over 25%, then in the mentioned period of time till 30%
- Tariffs for the calls from Artsakh will reduce by over 40%, then by 45%
- the data transfer and internet availability services by 50% then till 65%
- tariffs for sms over 65% then till 75%
He reported that from August 1 of the running year the outgoing and entry calls tariffs have been reduced by Beeline and Ucom companies.
“The final goal of the process is to have united price system in Armenia and Artsakh,” Pashinyan wrote.
