Government to keep rescuers' issues in focus: Armenia’s PM congratulates rescuers on their day
With their loyal work during this year the employees of Armenia’s Emergency Situations Ministry, the firemen have managed such risks which could have easily brought our country on the threshold of serious disasters, Armenia’s prime minister Nikol Pashinyan stated at the event dedicated to the day of Emergency Situations Ministry’s employees.
“I want to thank you once more for the dedicated work and I want to express hope and conviction that in future as well you will continue in the same way,” he stressed.
Pashinyan also stressed that the issue of effective management of emergency situations must be on the agenda of the government, and be under permanent focus.
“The government must pay a special assistance to the social condition of the MES employees, keep under the limelight the issue of technical upgrading of the ministry, issue of raising the level of awareness in the public about the emergency situations. We must spend more resources and time for carrying out prevention works,” the head of the government said.
Nikol Pashinyan said the role of the MES grows from day to day and the level of trust of rescue service as well.
“I am convinced that you all will continue your devoted service to the Republic of Armenia and its people,” the prime minister noted, wishing them effective work.
