An earthquake measuring 6.3 on the Richter scale hit Spain and Portugal, with its epicenter in the Atlantic Ocean about 100 kilometers southwest of Cape St Vincent in Portugal and at a depth of 58 kilometers, Spain's seismological institute and the National Geographic Institute said.
Spanish media said the quake hit cities of Seville, Cordoba and Huelva. Portugal felt the quake across the coast, but still has been issued neither detailed report whether there is damage or casualties.
