Prime minister holds meeting with Nairit workers
The Armenian prime minister has promised Nairit chemical plant’s workers demanding payment of wage arrears that they will receive back wages for one month. The plant employees told this to reporters after their meeting with the prime minister today. In their words, Hovik Abrahamyan also promised to find and punish the persons who are to blame for this situation.
As was reported, Nairit workers today marched to the government building to demand payment of wage arrears. The march was organized by the trade union, with the support of Nairit’s management.
Workers of Nairit have not received wages for 18 months.
