Earthquake hits Uzbekistan

An earthquake measuring 2.5-3.5 on the Richter scale hit Uzbekistan Thursday evening, Tashkent Seismological Center reported. Ferghana Valley and some southeast regions experienced moderate tremors.

At the same time, the earthquake measuring 6.0 on the Richter scale hit Kashmir with its epicentre located at the Afghanistan-Tajikistan border.
