Georgian citizenship via Internet

Civil Registry Agency of the Ministry of Justice of Georgia has introduced an online system of application for Georgian citizenship, Georgia Times reports quoting Agency’s head, George Vashadze.

Everyone can apply for Georgian citizenship through Internet, announced George Vashadze at today’s press-conference. Since now every foreign person can apply for Georgian citizenship sitting at home and never stepping into the street. One may apply directly via Internet, filling in the application and attaching photocopies of all the necessary documents including a pic. Cost of applying is 200 lari.
