The New Year day programs were full of “restaurant” music

The New Year day TV programs didn’t satisfy the demands of everyone, said the singer Lilit Pipoyan referring to the people surrounding her who were not satisfied by the New Year day TV programs of 2010.

Regardless the fact that L. Pipoyan has not monitored the New Year day programs broadcast by the Armenian TV channels she has managed to notice that the musical programs dominated and the latter were of “restaurant” level.

“It is not permitted to fill all the TV channels by that music as there is no space left for another kind of music. At last there should be variety, as our society consists of many layers”, - L. Pipoyan thinks.

According to the singer it is not allowed also to say that the classical concerts shown by a few TV channels are not enough too as it is not enough to have only classical music as the other genres are left out of the air.

“The restaurant is not a bad thing but now it is considered to be out of mode”, - explained the singer and underlined that she is disappointed from the New Year day programs of this year.

Instead L. Pipoyan thinks that they could show the best programs and musical presentations of the year.
