Non-crew in cockpit in Polish president's plane crash
Non-crew members were present in the cockpit of a plane that crashed in Russia killing all the passengers on board, including Polish president Lech Kaczynski, his wife and more than 90 other Polish top-officials in April.
During the investigation, one of the non-crew was identified; however, the police don’t name him/her. In addition, the investigation confirmed that crew were repeatedly warned about the poor weather.
Polish delegation, involving Lech Kaczynski, his wife and country’s numerous top officials, died in a plane crash on their way to Russia, where events timed to the 70th anniversary of the massacre of about 20,000 Polish officers, committed in the village of Katyn during WW2, were scheduled.
