Two dead in Sydney plane crash
Two people were killed after their light plane crashed in a Sydney neighborhood Tuesday, narrowly missing houses and an elementary school. Seven people on the ground were hospitalized for emotional distress, Associated Press reported.
The Piper PA-31 Mojave crashed into two power poles and caught fire on Canley Vale Road about 8:15am, killing the 28-year-old pilot Andrew Wilson and a female nurse on board, the Australian Transport Safety Bureau detailed.
The plane’s owner is the Wingaway Air, an aeromedical transportation airline.
It’s still unclear what happened.
