Warner Bros. developing blockbuster Don Quixote film

Warner Bros continues its quest to ‘update’ every famous literary adventure novel ever written, with its sights now set on Miguel de Cervantes’ Don Quixote, Screenrant reported.

It is reported that Warner Bros. and producer Joel Silver are fast-tracking a big-budget Don Quixote film as eventual tentpole for the studio. It's being described as a "Pirates of the Caribbean"-style swashbuckling version of the story.

Warner Bros intends this cinematic incarnation of Don Quixote after the success of Guy Ritchie’s Sherlock Holmes last winter.
