FIDE has officially announced that the tournaments for the candidates of the chess world championship will take place in Russian Kazan city on May 3-27, 2011. Eight grandmasters Topalov, Carlsen, Kramnik, Aronyan, Gelfand, Mamedyarov, Rajabov and Kamski have to confirm their participation.
