Brazil Championship: Mekhitarian scores 5.5 points

GM Krikor Sevag Mekhitarian beat Rafael Leitão in round 9 in the Brazil Championship which is being held in Americana, São Paulo. Mekhitarian has scored 5.5 points out of 9. The leader is GM Giovanni Vescovi who has scored 7 points, armchess.am reports.
