Armenian chess player in Istanbul

GM Hrant Melkumyan and Lilit Mkrtchian take part in the Rapid Chess Tournament, which is held in Istanbul and is organized by the Armenian club "Shishli". The opponents of our players are GMs S. Zhigalko, Durarbeyli, Can and Erdogdu.

Another Grand Prix Open Tournament in Istanbul is organized by "Shishli" dedicated to the memory of the former President of Turkish Chess Federation, International Arbiter Jirayr Ohanyan.
