Hrant Melkumyan is a Europe champion

GM Hrant Melkumyan at the European blitz chess championship held in Warsaw recived 20 points out of 26 and took the title of the continent champion, the official site of the Armenian Chess Federation repots.

379 chess players from 25 countries were taking part in the tournament. 57 of the players were Grand Masters.
