Vladimir Akopian in third place after seventh round

Vladimir Akopian has scored 5.5 points after 7 rounds at Dubai Open Chess Championship and is currently in third place. Second-ranked Ni Hua of China has also scored 5.5 points. Miezis of Latvia is leading the tournament with 6 points, the official website of Armenian Chess Federation reported.
