Armenian President Receives FM of Poland, Sweden and Bulgaria
President Serzh Sargsyan received today Foreign Minister of Poland Radoslaw Sikorsi, Swedish Foreign Minister Carl Bildt, and Bulgarian Foreign Minister Nikolay Mladenov.
The Armenian president welcomed the visit of the foreign ministers to Armenia. He attached importance to the involvement and assistance of concerned EU member states in deepening Armenia-EU cooperation.
According to the press office of the President, the interlocutors discussed the prospects of deepening the cooperation within the frame of the EU Eastern Partnership Project. In the opinion of the sides, these relations are rapidly developing and have risen to a qualitatively new level. It was stated that Armenia has made great progress in the negotiations on the Armenian-EU Association Agreement, and the talks on the creation of a Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Zone are being conducted successfully.
The sides also discussed regional problems and challenges as well as the Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement process.
