Zatik orphanage converted into Child Assistance Center

During the government session today, Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Artyom Asatrian submitted a draft decision related to Yerevan’s “Zatik” orphanage to the government for approval.

The draft contains a proposal to convert “Zatik” orphanage into a Child Assistance Center. Temporary care during the daytime will be provided to children in the transformed orphanage.

According to the minister, this move is part of the government policy, by which children will be put in the care of families.

The draft decision was approved by the government.
